Group running on treadmills at Rumble

HALF TREAD, HALF WEIGHTS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

THE WORKOUT: TRAINING

What is a Rumble Training Class like?
It’s the push you love and the team energy to take you there. This is training for all: Workout newbies, people who claim to like running, and people who actually like running lace up next to each other for ten electric rounds of a full-body, dynamic, interval-based workout that keeps everyone on their toes.

Start off as a group with a high-powered, runners-focused, functional warm up. Then split half the 50-minute class between tearing it up with intervals, resistance, and speed on our high-tech treadmills and powering up at your station with strength and body-weight conditioning exercises. Low lights, heart-pumping beats, and the pursuit of fun all come together to give you that signature Rumble experience you know and love.
I don’t run much, will I be able to keep up?
Absolutely. Our workouts are beginner friendly and designed so everyone can Rumble at their own pace.

Before class, we’ll call First Timers into the studio where we'll go over our four paces - Walk, Jog, Run, Sprint - and four inclines - Flat, Hill, Mountain, Peak and how to move through them on the treadmill like a champ.
What if I can't do everything in class? I haven't worked out in a while.
Don’t sweat it. If you can move, you can Rumble.

Instructors offer a variety of levels and modifications for many of the exercises we do in class, so no matter your experience, you can take it to your max.
Is there a beginner class?
Nope, because all of our classes are suitable for beginners!

Our custom joysticks on each treadmill keeps you in control of your level so you’re set up for success every time you step on the tread.
Do I need special gear?
Not at all. Just make sure it’s comfortable to move in whatever you’ve got on and your kicks can handle your pace.
How old do you have to be to take a class?
13.

We offer special event classes that are suitable for all age groups. Birthday parties, Bat Mitzvahs, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and book clubs are all up our alley.
Do you offer corporate events or private classes for groups?
Yes. We offer tread blocks, class exclusives, and venue exclusives.

Reach out to events@rumble-boxing.com for group classes at our Rumble Training locations.

After the 12-hour mark, we will call you if we are able to secure you a spot in class. We can only hold the spot if we're able to reach you; otherwise, we will release it to the next client on the waitlist. That said, we always encourage waitlisted clients to come to the studio, as we are often able to get clients in on a walk-in basis.

We recommend arriving at the studio 15 minutes before class for check-in.
What do I do when I get there?
Say what’s up to whoever is at the front desk and mention that it is your first time. They’ll get you taken care of.

Why running?
They don’t call it runner’s high for nothing. When you get in the zone and find your stride, running can significantly improve physical and mental health.

As a form of heart-pumping, aerobic exercise, running can reduce stress, improve heart health, and even help alleviate symptoms of depression. When in doubt, run it out.
Will Training classes help me lose weight?
The short answer: yep.

With a variety of movements and physical activity in a single class, cross-training can help speed weight loss because it allows you to combine more than one form of physical activity in a single exercise session. This lets you work out safely for longer periods of time, enhancing the fat-burning systems of your muscles. How’s that for efficiency?
How many days per week should I Train?
That’s a question best answered by your doc and your personal trainer, but if you have the go-ahead, 2-3 days of HIIT per week is solid.

With the variety of movements, Training is a safe, effective workout and the physical benefits continue even after you step off the treadmill. You know you best, so choose your schedule based on how your body feels and the goals you’re ready to crush.
What do I need for class?
Nothing special — just traditional cross-training shoes or running shoes to keep you light on your feet.

Wear something you feel comfortable moving in that you don’t mind getting drenched in sweat.
Can I take class if I’m pregnant?
We’ve had clients train right up to D-Day, but that is a question better suited for you and your doctor.
